Yvonne Juanita Vandegraft age 88 of Hudson IL passed away at 3:31 AM on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Sugar Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center, Normal, IL. Her graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Hudson Township Cemetery, Hudson, IL. Rev. Kendall Coffman will be officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Tuesday at the Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Hudson Fire Department.

She was born March 5, 1930 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Orville and Lorene Thomas Johnson. She married William “Bill” Vandegraft on July 26, 1951 in Hudson, IL. He passed away September 13, 2002.

Surviving are her 2 children, Vicky (John ) Brown, Hudson, IL, Rick (Wanda) Vandegraft, Normal, IL, 6 grandchildren, Traci (Flint) DeWitt, Canton, IL, Ryan (Stephanie) Brown, Jackson, TN, Adam Vandegraft, Normal, IL, Kiel (Nichole) Vandegraft, Hudson, IL, Alex Vandegraft, Chicago, IL, Kelly (Chad) Krause, Batavia, IL, 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Darlene Stephens, Bloomington, IL, 1 brother, Bill (Barb) Johnson, Bloomington, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Yvonne enjoyed playing cards and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
